In the movie Maestro, Bradley Cooper plays the character of Leonard Bernstein, on the other hand, Carey Mulligan plays the character of Felicia Montealegre. Talking about Leonard and Felicia's love story, the American conductor first met her at a party hosted by Claudio Arrau. Bernstein was infamous for his relations with several men while being married to Felicia and even after her death. However, amid infamous reports on Leonard's sexuality, he and Felicia got married in 1951. Those wondering why Felicia was significant in Leonard's life, the answer is the American composer wrote most of his Operas while on honeymoon.  Notably, Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre underwent relationship turmoil as the US conductor was bisexual. Now, coming to Leonard and Felicia's death, on October 14, 1990, Leonard Bernstein died of a heart attack caused by lung failure. On the other hand, Felicia Montealegre died of lung cancer in East Hampton, New York, on June 16, 1978, at the age of 56.
