While India is pleading for CBI Inquiry since the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has finally broken his silence. With BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy intervening into the matter, Rhea Chakraborty's requesting for CBI Inquiry and continuous demand for CBI Inquiry by fans, Maharashtra Home Minister finally responded into the matter.

News website mid-day quoted Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. He said that there was no need for a CBI probe and that the Mumbai police is competent enough to handle such cases.

Deshmukh, said, "I have the tweets and the campaign. But I don't think that a CBI probe is required. The Mumbai Police is competent enough to handle such cases and they are investigating every aspect of the case including professional rivalry. As of now, we do not see any foul play. Details of the investigation will be shared once it is completed."

BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has written a letter to PM Modi to allow the CBI Inquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput's case.
