"Maharashtra government trying to hide Bollywood's connection with drug cartel": BJP leader Ram Kadam

After the revelations of Rhea Chakraborty's connection with drug dealers, Sushant Singh Rajput's death case has taken a new turn. The ED on Tuesday shared WhatsApp chats of Rhea Chakraborty with drug dealers to the CBI and the NCB. The NCB confirmed the reports and also said that the agency will also be probing Sushant Singh Rajput's case. 

On the other hand, the Maharashtra government is all silent in the drug cartel and its connection to Bollywood. BJP leader Ram Kadam in a telephonic conversation with Times Now said that what the Maharashtra government was not able to do in the past 70 days the media organizations did. Kadam said that the question arises which Bollywood actors or actresses still consume drugs?

Kadam raised questions on Uddhav Thackeray's government and asked how they were totally unaware of the drug cartel and business that were going on in the state?

He also raised questions on Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh's silence on the drug connection of Bollywood and said that he is trying to protect someone prominent.  

The BJP leader asked Did Maharashtra government trying to save the mafias of drugs and their connection in Bollywood?

Ram Kadam also wrote a formal letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on this. Kadam wrote that the entire state considers the Bollywood industry as icons and look upto them for inspiration. Kadam requested Uddhav to initiate a discussion in the assembly on the ongoing nexus of drug cartel and Bollywood industry.
