Alpesh Deshmukh, a lab technician in Maharashtra’s government hospital, who was arrested for rape and molestation, was sentenced to 10 years of jail for taking a woman’s vaginal swabs for a Covid test.
The woman worked at a shopping plaza in Amrapali. One of the staff members there tested positive due to which the entire staff was required to undergo a Covid test.
