Ishkaran Singh Bhandari slams Mumbai Police for giving VIP treatment to Mahesh Bhatt

As per reports, DCP Abhishek Trumukhe was himself present at the Santacruz police station

With the continuous pressure by the people of India, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh permitted Mumbai Police to interrogate veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. While everyone's statement has been recorded at the Bandra Police Station, Mahesh Bhatt was called at Santacruz police station. 

This sparked another controversy of VIP treatment. As per reports, DCP Abhishek Trumukhe was himself present at the Santacruz police station. Mahesh Bhatt had coffee with the DCP and was questioned for only 2 hours. People have been asking the question that why Mahesh Bhatt got such treatment. As per reports, it was done so that the media won't gather.

Advocate Ishkaran Singh Bhandari raised questions that the Mumbai cannot record Bollywood actress Kangana's statement via video-conferencing but the Police can give VIP treatment to Mahesh Bhatt.

Ishkaran also outlined if the case was 'high-profile' then why the police did not act like that from day 1? After the public outrage, the police started terming it high profile case. 

BJP leader Ravi Tiwari Bihari questioned the same thing. and wrote on his twitter wrote, "Was it a private meeting or interrogation with Mahesh Bhatt ? what it was ??
