Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey on Wednesday sparked a new controversy when he used the word 'Aukat'. Pandey was interacting with media after the Supreme Court gave its verdict in the favor of Bihar Government in Sushant Singh Rajput's case.

When asked by the media that Rhea Chakraborty accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of using Sushant's death for political benefit, Pandey reverted in a strong language. He said that the actress did not have the "aukat" (stature) to comment about the honorable CM. A video of the DGP's response has been going viral on social media with many calling out the cop's sexist comment.

Now, TMC leader Mahua Moitra has responded to it. Moitra slammed the DGP and said, "Aukat”? Since when is it okay for the leading IPS officer of a state to refer to a lady in this primitive entitled manner no matter what the context? Need language lessons or lessons in civility, Sir?"
