In the viral Mamata Banerjee video, the West Bengal CM was seen using a piece of clothes on her forehead, while her security trying to keep the situation under control. While no blood was seen in the video, she was admitted to a hospital after the accident. As per reports, Banerjee's car suddenly halted to avoid a collision with another vehicle. The sudden braking jolted her, leading to an injury.  Reports further suggest that the West Bengal CM had gone to East Burdwan by helicopter to address an administrative meeting. She didn't return to Kolkata by helicopter because of bad weather.

A Police official was quoted saying, "Shortly after leaving the venue a car strayed into the convoy and her driver had to apply the brakes abruptly. Since she always sits in the front seat..She was tossed forward and her head hit the windshield."

Notably, Banerjee left for Kolkata and did not stop for medical assistance. She will see doctors after she reaches West Bengal's capital city. As of now, reports suggest that the injury was minor.
