Coming back to Arvind Kejriwal's hearing, the Rouse Avenue Court extended Delhi CM's remand till April 1, 2024. ED while seeking remand stated that Data in one mobile phone (belonging to the arrestee's wife) has been extracted and is being analyzed. However, data from the other 4 digital devices seized during search at Arvind Kejriwal's premises on 21.03.2024 (belonging to the arrestee himself) are yet to be extracted as the arrestee has sought time to provide password/login credentials after consulting with his lawyers.

Ramesh Gupta, counsel of Arvind Kejriwal, said on ED seeking an extension of Delhi CM's remand by seven days in Rouse Avenue Court. "The grounds (put forth by ED) were baseless. Arvind Kejriwal requested the court to say something, which was allowed.  He explained that there was no evidence against him and lastly he said that he doesn't oppose the police remand as such, and that they can keep him in the custody and he will cooperate," said Gupta.
