A cloudburst occurred over Palchan Seri
Nallah in Manali due to which a wooden bridge connecting Solan and Manali got
washed away on Monday.
The water level in the Beas River has
also increased to cloudburst. Meanwhile, water has also entered the houses
located near the banks of the Beas river.
According to the sources, no casualty
has been reported so far, but an alert has been issued to avoid any further
risk. The authorities have asked the people to stay away from the Solan river.
Recently India
has suffered some cloudbursts that have resulted in the loss of lives and
properties of people.
Cloudburst near the Amarnath Shrine
resulted in the death of 15 people and 40 went missing due to the same. Not
only this but 1 was deceased and 14 were missing after the cloudburst in Kullu of
Himachal Pradesh.
