A cloudburst occurred over Palchan SeriNallah in Manali due to which a wooden bridge connecting Solan and Manali gotwashed away on Monday.
The water level in the Beas River hasalso increased to cloudburst. Meanwhile, water has also entered the houseslocated near the banks of the Beas river.
According to the sources, no casualtyhas been reported so far, but an alert has been issued to avoid any furtherrisk. The authorities have asked the people to stay away from the Solan river.
Recently Indiahas suffered some cloudbursts that have resulted in the loss of lives andproperties of people.
Cloudburst near the Amarnath Shrineresulted in the death of 15 people and 40 went missing due to the same. Notonly this but 1 was deceased and 14 were missing after the cloudburst in Kullu ofHimachal Pradesh.
