In a sad development, a Punjab-based couple was shot dead in Manila by an unknown assailant on 25th March 2023. The deceased couple belonged to Goraya, Jalandhar. CCTV of the same incident has also surfaced and the investigation is underway.
Reportedly, a couple from Jalandhar used to live in Manila. On 25th March 2023 both the husband and wife were shot dead by a miscreant. Till now information about robbery has not come to the fore. The CCTV that has surfaced shows the accused sitting with deceased Sukhwinder Singh and having a drink. Later, he gets up and takes out the gun from his jacket. Post this, he first kills the husband with three bullets. The accused then comes inside the house and kills the wife identified as Kirandeep Kaur with two bullets and runs away. Then, he comes back again inside the house and takes something along with him. As per the video, it seems like the accused was known to the deceased people.
Talking about the incident, the deceased’s brother Lakhbir Singh stated that he came back to India just a few days back, and two days after he got to know about what happened with his brother. Reportedly, Sukhwinder Singh is in a financial job. His brother revealed that Sukhwinder talked about some people who were not on good terms with him over some money dispute. The investigation is underway and till now no information about accused arrested has surfaced.
