After coming into the government Mann government has made many announcements. In a recent announcement, the Mann government promised to confirm 35 thousand raw employees. Bhagwant Mann said that their party has promised the Adhoc workers this during their campaign. Mann said during their campaign the workers shared that they are working for many years on a contract basis. They are assigned more salaries but receive less because the contractors take their commissions from it. Their party promised the workers to solve their issue.
But after the formation of the new government, neither new jobs are offered to the unemployed nor contract employees confirmed. Despite this, the government has issued an order to extend the service period of the temporary employees by one year. A letter has been sent to the deputy commissioners of all the districts and the head of the concerned departments.
In the letter, it has been written that if the regular recruitment takes time then the contract of the employees should be extended. The service of the employees can be extended till a law will be introduced regarding Adhoc employees. It has also been mentioned that if regular recruitment has not been done yet and takes time, then the contract should be extended.
Mann announced that their government will make sure the regularization of 35 thousand employees of Group C and D working Adhoc in the state. The draft will be soon placed in the assembly.
