35 men forcefully entered Gargi College Sexually Assaulted, Molested And Masturbated In Front of Female Students. Case Registered

An incident came into limelight when news broke out that a mob of 35 men forcefully entered a girl's college (Gargi College) in Delhi during the Annual Celebration of the college. As per reports and witnesses, the mob forcefully entered into the college mostly of middle age started molesting, sexual assaulting and even masturbated in front of the female students. 

The students had gone to attend the concert of Zubin Nautiyal. As per students, the crowd started growing after 3 pm at the Fest and many people entered inside, just for the purpose of teasing and harassing the girls.

As per a BA third-year student, "there were hundreds of people, there was no crowd management. Of these, 200–300 people had come to harass only girls. Many opened shirt buttons, some opened shirts. Some even got the chance to masturbate. One or two also threw money at the girls. They were touching us in the wrong place, hitting us. Police were stationed inside. We asked for help but they did nothing. Because of this, many girls started leaving after 6 pm. I could not bear myself and reach out, where a PCR van was also parked. 'Some crooks reach outside the washroom'.

Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal in Lok Sabha on Gargi college case said that it has come to our notice that some outsiders had entered the college, which is not right. The college administration has been asked to look into it.
