The people of India have a totally different craze for hockey as it is the national sport of the country. This time hockey world cup will be hosted in India and before that the trophy that will be earned by the winning team will be taken to different states of the country.

President of Hockey Punjab, Nitin Kohli informed that as per tour, all the concerned authorities of Hockey World Cup will visit the state of Punjab on 14th December 2022. The Hockey World Cup team will reach Amritsar airport at around 7 am. Furthermore, at around 8:30 am World Cup trophy will be welcomed at Spring Dale School. After this at 10:45 am trophy welcome function by Guru Nanak Dev University will take place. The trophy will then be taken to Shri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar. From there trophy will be taken at Jallianwalah Bagh. From there it will be taken to Durgiana Temple, Amritsar. Furthermore, the trophy will be displayed at VM Mall Amritsar for public. Then in the evening Hockey World Cup trophy will be handed over to Haryana.

The trophy will be welcomed by senior dignitaries which will include Oly. Brig. Harcharan Singh (Gold Medalist 1975 World Cup), Oly. Surinder Singh Sodhi (Gold Medalist 1980 Olympics Moscow), Sh.
