Mexico City: The state Governer Omar Fayad said that the death toll from pipeline explosion in Mexico's central state of Hidalgo climbed to 91 while 52 sustained injuries. Those wounded, were being treated at hospitals in Hidalgo.
According to the local government, between 600 and 800 people gathered at the site to collect leaked fuel with containers when the explosion took place.
Fayad said that all possible support has been offered to affected families and reiterated his request not to approach leaking pipelines.
