"Thankyou Amit Shah Ji": MHA grants Y category security to Kangana Ranaut after threats from Shiv Sena and Sanjay Raut

Recently, the Himachal Pradesh State government has accepted the Police Protection of Kangana Ranaut.

Monday brought some great news not only for Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut but also for her fans who widely follow her. After a continuous request for Police protection from the Central Government, the Ministry of Home Affairs has granted Y category security for Kangana Ranaut. 

Recently, the Himachal Pradesh State government has accepted the Police Protection of Kangana Ranaut. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur had said, "Kangana is the daughter of Himachal Pradesh and a celebrity too. It's our duty to give her security. I have told the Director-General of police Sanjay Kundu to take steps accordingly."

"Kangana Ranaut's father has given in writing asking for police protection. I've directed DGP in this regard. She'll be provided security here. We are also discussing what can be done to provide security to her outside HP as she is leaving for Mumbai on 9th September," added Jai Ram."

Kangana has openly challenged the Maharashtra state government to stop her to visit Mumbai after Shiv Sena hinted to stop her irrespective of the law. Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut also abused her publically. She was also threatened that she will be attacked and her jaws will be broken after she will come to Mumbai.

Kangana responded to the Y category security and expressed her gratitude to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. She tweeted in Hindi and said, "ये प्रमाण है की अब किसी देशभक्त आवाज़ को कोई फ़ासीवादी नहीं कुचल सकेगा,मैं @AmitShah जी की आभारी हूँ वो चाहते तो हालातों के चलते मुझे कुछ दिन बाद मुंबई जाने की सलाह देते मगर उन्होंने भारत की एक बेटी के वचनों का मान रखा, हमारे स्वाभिमान और आत्मसम्मान की लाज रखी, जय हिंद."
