In the latest development of Michigan State University shooting case, the police have officially released the image of accused gunman involved in the case. While sharing the picture on their official Twitter handle, MSU wrote, “The suspect is a Black male, shorter in stature, red shoes, jean jacket, wearing a baseball cap that is navy with a lighter brim.”

For the unversed, 3 people were killed while 5 people were left wounded with fatal injuries after a person opened fire in the premises of Michigan State University on Monday. The reports surfaced soon after Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety issued an alert regarding the gunshots. Chris Rozman, interim deputy chief of the university police while talking about the Michigan State University shooting incident said that 3 people have got killed while 5 were sent to hospital after they received fatal injury marks due to firing.

Reportedly, the shooter targeted two area of the campus. At 7.10 am, shots were heard near Berkey Hall on the East Lansing campus of the university. While at 7.56 am, it was reported that shots were fired near IM East. To maintain the safety of others all campus activities have been cancelled for the next 48 hours. Adding to this MSU students were restricted to enter the campus.

MSU police have released the pictures of accused and said that the suspect is a “short male with a mask, possibly Black,” wearing a jean jacket and a ball cap. Police are active on the scene. For the time being, it is said that there was only one person involved in the shooting.

The MSU police stated, “victims are currently being transported to Sparrow Hospital. Brody Hall, Snyder/Phillips Hall, Mason Hall, Abbot Hall, Landon Hall, the MSU Union, and Berkey Hall have all been cleared/secured.”
