While Mirzapur 3's official OTT Release date is yet to be announced, there are reports that give some insight to it. As per reports, the creators intend to launch the crime thriller series after the conclusion of IPL 2024 to avoid any impact on viewership. Certain reports suggest that the upcoming season might hit streaming platforms in May 2024 itself, while others hint at a potential release in June or July. Mirzapur 3's release in May seems highly unlikely as Amazon Prime Video has already announced Panchayat 3 to be released this month. It means Mirzapur 3 is most likely to be released on Amazon Prime Video sometime in July 2024.
Mirzapur 3 will mark the return of Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, and Shweta Tripathi Sharma among others. However, Bollywood actor Divyendu has confirmed that he will not be returning to the series and portraying the character of Munna Bhaiya, son of Kaleen Bhaiya. Munna was killed in Mirzapur 2, while Pankaj Tripathi was rescued by Rati Shankar Shukla's son.
During an interaction with an Instagram portal, Bollywood actor Divyendu Sharma said, "I am not part of season 3 guys. I know it's a heartbreak...I love those conspiracy theories, they were legit. But on Humans of Bombay I shall declare that I am not part of Mirzapur Season 3."
