Miss Brazil Leticia Frota on Saturday won the prestigious Beauty With A Purpose award at the Miss World 2024. Leticia Frota, 20, is passionate about her work with the Riverside people of the Amazon and her work supporting the Global Appeal for Leprosy. After winning the title, Leticia Frota expressed that she traveled to a lot of countries helping people.
She is the ambassador for the Hansen's Disease cause in her country and internationally. She educates people about the disease. She has also done some volunteer work in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and the Amazon, raising funds to take food and water to those in need.
As per Miss World's official website, Leticia Frota was quoted saying, "I am a dreamer and determined. From a very young age, I have always been certain of my purpose, which is to make a difference in the world. My goal is to help create change through my actions and positively influence others."
