Miss World 2024 on Saturday kickstarted with Shamak Dawar Dance Crew lighting the stage on fire with their performance. Miss World 2024 kickstarted at Jio World Center in Mumbai. The Jio Center was jam-packed with elite guests from around the world. Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde, CEO of Miss World Organisation Julia Evelyn Morley CBE, Amruta Fadnavis, Sajid Nadiadwala, Harbhajan Singh, Rajat Sharma, Jamil Said, and Vineet Jain. Notably, India is hosting Miss World after a hiatus of 28 years. It last took place in Bangalore in 1996. The pageant show was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and Miss World 2013 Megan Young from the Philippines.
