In a massive development, Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty on Saturday morning was rushed to a hospital in Kolkata after suffering from severe chest pain. As per reports, Mithun Chakraborty was feeling uneasy, following which he was taken to the hospital and is currently undergoing treatment in Kolkata. After Mithun Chakraborty's hospitalization reports surfaced, fans on social media expressed their best wishes to the veteran Bollywood actor. Not only this, many started to query about Mithun Chakraborty's health update. Mithun Chakraborty is 73-years-old and is affectionately called the 'Disco Dancer' by fans.
It is pertinent to mention here that Mithun's family is yet to react to the reports of his hospitalisation, and the hospital has also not issued any statement so far. Mithun, who was last seen as a judge in the dance reality show Dance Bangla Dance along with Mouni Roy, Subhashree Ganguly, Srabanti Chatterjee and Puja Banerjee, was honoured with a Padma Award – the Padma Bhushan – in January 2024. Mithun Chakraborty's son, actor Mimoh Chakraborty, expressed his happiness over Mithun's Padma Bhushan as well.
