A new twist in MLA Raman Arora's corruption case has come to the fore. On Saturday, Jalandhar Central MLA Raman Arora's call recording recently went viral on social media. In the viral call recording, MLA Raman Arora was talking to a local businessman. In Raman Arora's call recording, the businessman can be heard saying that he had paid Rs 5 lakh, but the Corporation officers still visited his property. As per sources, the viral call recording indeed belongs to Raman Arora. The businessman with whom he is talking is named Yashpal Khanna.
As per sources, Yashpal Khanna paid Rs 5 lakh to MLA Raman Arora to prevent the demolition of his property at Attari Bazaar. It has also been revealed that Yashpal was among the first people to have recorded his statement against the Jalandhar Central MLA. As per Vigilance sources, the audio is 20 minutes long, but currently, only a 41-second audio clip has surfaced. The Bureau has reportedly submitted the audio as evidence as well.
