'I was mocking him': Elvish Yadav breaks silence on his viral hugging pic with Munawar Faruqui

Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner Elvish Yadav on Friday broke the internet after an alleged video of him beating a YouTuber went viral on X. YouTuber Maxtern on his X handle had accused Elvish Yadav & at least 10 men of beating him after he posted a meme on the Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner mocking him for hugging comedian Munawar Faruqui. Not only this, Maxtern accused Elvish Yadav of not only beating him but also threatening him to kill him. As a result, Elvish Yadav came under the scanner of social media and he was slammed for hugging Munawar Faruqui who allegedly used derogatory terms against Hindu Gods & Goddesses. Now, Elvish Yadav has finally broken his silence on his viral pic with Munawar Faruqui. 

 

Sharing a video on X, Elvish Yadav clarified that the controversy started when he went to Mumbai for an ISPL match that was played for charity. Elvish stated that he did not charge even a single penny to attend and play the ISPL charity match. Thereafter, Elvish Yadav claimed that social media during an X Space started abusing him and his fans. Not only this, Elvish stated that the user abused his family over his viral picture with Munawar Faruqui. 

 

Issuing clarification on Munawar Faruqui, Elvish Yadav said that the picture that is going viral was actually after the comedian was dismissed. Elvish stated that he was mocking Munawar Faruqui after he was dismissed and urged everyone to watch the actual match footage. The Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner slammed the trolls for calling him a hypocrite Hindu. Elvish pointed out that 'nationalists' like Akshay Kumar and Sachin Tendulkar took pictures with Munawar Faruqui and if going by the logic then the celebrities are anti-Hindu as well.
