'Modi cannot stop Punjab from turning into Khalistan': Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh sparks row

Amritpal Singh made this statement in front of media during first anniversary of Deep Sidhu

Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh on Sunday arrived in Budh Singh Wala village in Moga district. He visited to witness the first anniversary organized in memory of Deep Sidhu. Amritpal Singh also inaugurated gate built in memory of Deep Sidhu, Saheed Bhai Gurjant Singh in the village.

Post this, Amritpal Singh, while interacting with media talked about his dream of making Khalistan and how no one can stop him from turning his dream into reality. He stated that each and every child in Punjab is raising its voice for Khalistan. He also added that many ancestors have sacrificed their lives to turn Punjab into Khalistan. Waris Punjab De Chief in the end also stated that he will make sure that Khalistan is made, neither Indira Gandhi was able to nor Narendra Modi will be able to stop them from doing so.

A few days back Amritpal Singh also released a video of himself where he was seen warning the Ajnala Police of state-wide action if his group members are not released from custody.

Amritpal Singh said that Ajnala Police arrested two members of his group namely Lovepreet Singh Toofan and Sandhu from their home over the kidnapping case. He further added that case registered against them for kidnapping and assaulting a person is also false and they are just trying to target him as well as his followers. Amritpal Singh stated that various number of times they have told police that they don’t want to go against the officials but if they will keep on arresting our members like this, then we will also take a strong decision against them.
