However, to become PM of India for the third time, PM Modi is expected to give important portfolios to its allies that include TDP, JDU, LJP, HAM, etc. To negotiate over who gets what in Modi Government Cabinet 3.0, the NDA has called for a meeting on Saturday. Now, the question arises who gets what ministries in the Modi Government 3.0 Cabinet? Below is what we know so far-

Amit Shah

Amit Shah who served as the Union Home Minister in Modi 2.0 is expected to make his comeback on the same portfolio. Notably, Amit Shah took multiple key decisions in his tenure as Home Minister of India that include the abrogation of Article 370, passing CAA law, etc. Before the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Amit Shah had promised to implement CAA and now his next duty will be the implementation of NRC, Bharatiya Nyay Samhita, and even the formulation of Uniform Civil Code and One Nation One Election.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Popularly known as “Mama”, the three-time Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan contested the Lok Sabha elections 2024 for the very first time. It is expected that Modi will include him in his list of Cabinet Ministers. Seeing his seniority he will be given an important post in this government. If not cabinet minister, Chouhan is expected to be appointed as BJP's National President. Notably, Chouhan has displayed outstanding leadership and was pivotal in BJP sealing Madhya Pradesh Elections and Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in MP.

Nitin Gadkari

Nitin Gadkari has an image of a reliable leader, liked by all political parties irrespective of political thinking. He was given the post of Minister of Road Transport and Highways in the last two Modi Government. It is expected that Modi will want him to continue with this portfolio only. S Jaishankar

S Jaishankar has been one of the most important cabinet ministers of the 2019 Modi government. Jaishankar's foreign policies have given fruitful results in the past, thus making him a prime candidate for the 2014 Modi Cabinet Ministers. BJP will want him to continue his work as Externa Affairs Minister in this government as well.

Anupriya Patel

Apna Dal (Sonelal) President Anupriya Patel became Minister of State in the year 2021 in Modi Government. BJP is expected to give one cabinet position to Apna Dal from which Anupriya Patel will likely become a cabinet minister.

Other leaders who are expected to be awarded with Ministries include- Smriti Irani, Anurag Thakur, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Arjun Munda, Hardeep Singh Puri, Parshottam Rupala, Pralhad Joshi, Narendra Singh Tomar, Giriraj Singh, etc.

As per reports, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is also aiming for 3-4 berths in the Union Cabinet, seeking key portfolios to bolster its representation; MoS Finance role and two-three other full-fledged ministries. Additionally, there is also a demand for 'special status' for Andhra Pradesh.
