A video of BKU chief Jagjit Singh Dallewal is going viral on social media in which he is talking about PM Modi. Dallewal can be heard saying that after Ram Mandir, Modi's graph has increased and it has to be brought down. The video that is now going viral has raised questions regarding the real motive behind this protest.

The objective of Bharatiya Kisan Union Sidupur and Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, was to draw the attention of the Central Government towards farmers' issues. But due to this video, people are wondering whether the whole thing was politically motivated. Dallewal can be seen that Modi was increasingly gaining attention due to Ram Mandir, but it needs to be brought down.

In the video, Dallewal is heard saying, 'I used to talk in the village, there is very little opportunity and Modi's graph is very high, can we bring the graph down in a few days (translated)' When Dallewal was talked to in this regard, he said that this is not his official statement. Dallewal says, the government is arrogant. The government has adopted a dictatorial attitude towards the farmers in which they were being attacked extensively.

During demonstrations, tear gas shells were used but no physical attacks were made. At the same time, questions are being raised on the entire farmers movement due to Dallewal's video. Because the discussion among the people was about how such a big movement had arisen suddenly. In 2020, 34 farmer organizations of Punjab were protesting against three agricultural laws. Whereas this movement is being done by only 2 farmer organizations

The video of Dallewal makes it seem that the farmers' movement was politically motivated to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the construction of the Ram temple. Sources say that the aim is suspected to be to create an atmosphere against Modi before the code of conduct was imposed for the Lok Sabha elections. Because after the implementation of the code of conduct, agitation cannot be started in election activities. However, Dallewal says that their aim is not to bring anyone down.

The code of conduct was imposed on March 10 in 2019. This time too it is believed that the code of conduct may be implemented any time in the month of April.
