Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed a rally in Jalandhar, Punjab. After addressing the people of Gurdaspur on Friday afternoon, PM Modi headed to Jalandhar and addressed the people waiting for him. During his Jalandhar rally, PM Modi launched a scathing attack on the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress. Slamming the Mann government, PM Modi said, "The Jhady party is watering the poisonous seeds that were sown by the Congress. But, Punjab being a bordering state cannot back in times." However, what filled everyone with joy when the Prime Minister listed 'Modi Ki Guarantee' at the Jalandhar rally. PM Modi made five big promises to the people of Jalandhar-
- PM Modi promised the people of Jalandhar to make the city a center of sports once again and eradicate issues like drug trafficking or drug business issues.
- PM Modi promised the Jalandharites that he would work in a way that youths of Jalandhar get jobs in their village and they don't need to go somewhere else away from their families.
- PM Modi further promised that his government will work to increase flight services from the newly inaugurated Adampur Airport.
- PM Modi further promised that more cities of Punjab will get Vande Bharat Express.
- Last but not least, PM Modi promised senior citizens above 70, that their medical checkups along with other costs will be made free of costs if the BJP government is voted to power.
Modi in Jalandhar
PM Modi during his rally in Jalandhar said, "In the last ten years, for the first time, the country has witnessed a new era. During the Congress era, there were a lot of problems. For the first time, Modi has provided solutions...Today even country understand, that till congress is there, there are only problems, and where there is BJP, there is solution, and that is why, the whole country says, 4 June - 400 Paar.."
"Earlier, there was a prohibition on foreign donations at Shri Harmandir Sahib. It was our govt that removed it. Congress would have never done that for the sake of appeasement politics...For decades, whatever sins Congress has committed here, now the Jhadu Party is following the same path," added PM Modi.
PM Modi further said, "Congress and AAP are in the same boat here; they abuse each other, but in Delhi, they are friends. Voting for either of them is voting against Punjab. For BJP, Punjab is our faith, and its development is guaranteed by Modi."
