In a symbolic move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a surprise visit to the Adampur Air Base on Tuesday morning. As per reports, the Prime Minister was briefed by Indian Air Force personnel on the current security status and operational readiness of the base. He also interacted with jawans stationed there, praising their dedication and valor.
The visit came in the wake of false claims by Pakistani media channels and social media pages, which alleged that Pakistan had damaged India’s S-400 air defense system stationed at the Adampur Air Base. The Indian government had earlier dismissed these claims as baseless and part of a misinformation campaign.
Prime Minister Modi’s presence at the base is being seen as a direct reply to Pakistan’s propaganda, reaffirming that operations at Adampur remain unaffected and fully functional.
