Shocking incident of firing was reported from Punjab’s Moga. As per the information, the incident took place at the bus stand of Dharmkot situated in Moga. One person was shot dead while the other got brutally injured during the same.
Reportedly, the incident took place on Wednesday night when the deceased was returning to his home after closing the shop. He along with his friend was going to his house when around 13-14 miscreants attacked both of them and fired 3-6 rounds of bullets at them. During this, one person was shot dead while the other got injured as the bullet hit his leg. The deceased was identified as Harpreet Singh while the injured is Arshdeep Singh. Arshdeep is presently at the hospital getting treatment.
The police were informed about the information and an investigation is underway. As per the information, the incident took place due to a matter related to financial betting. Police officials looking into the matter and further details are awaited.
