A Punjab Police Station House Officer (SHO)’s was shot at in an attempted murder in Mohali today. As per reports, shots were fired early in the morning. The SHO was attacked by miscreants who shot at his bullet-proof car. He was traveling from Kharar to Kurali and near Morinda Bypass, some miscreants fired at him
Officer Gabbar Singh is the SHO of the Mataur Police Station in Mohali, Punjab. The SHO was also threatened prior to the attack, due to which the government had provided him with a bulletproof car for his safety. The officer’s bulletproof car saved his life. The SHO was reportedly travelling somewhere with a gunman when the miscreants opened fire at around 2 in the morning.
There is information that his car and the gunman were shot but this has not been formally confirmed yet. Police have started scanning CCTV cameras. A case has been registered in Ropar police station regarding this matter. A formal police investigation is underway
