Money Laundering Case : Nawab Malik arrives at Author Road Jail, PMLA sends him to 14-day Judicial Custody

Maharashtra Minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik arrived at Author Road jail this evening , as special PMLA court sent him to 14- day long judicial custody.

Malik was arrested on Feb 23 in the money laundering case, remained under Enforcement Directorate custody till March 7.

Earlier, before taking to the court appearance, Malik was taken to JJ Hospital in Mumbai for his medical checkup.

In February ED had conducted raids at the residence of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parker in Mumbai in connection with money laundering case.

Meanwhile, Bhartiya Janata Party had has demanded resignation of Minister, but the Maha Vikas Agadhi (MVA), coalition government in Maharashtra comprising of Congress, Shiv Sena, NCP has rejected the demand.
