Monsoon arrives in Punjab: Relief from heat with heavy rains expected in the upcoming days

Punjab residents are going to get relief from the heat. Monsoon has reached the state of Punjab. The Meteorological Department says that the monsoon is going to enter Punjab within 1-2 days. However, before this, the weather had changed in Punjab, and most of the districts were covered with dark clouds today. This has given some relief to the people from the heat.

Dark clouds are looming over many other districts of Punjab, including Mohali, Patiala, Sangrur, Gurdaspur, Bathinda, Mansa, and Barnala, and the weather is pleasant. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature will suddenly drop in the next few days and that there will be heavy rain in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, the rainy season is starting in Punjab on June 27, i.e., tomorrow. There will be rain at many places tomorrow and light rain on June 28–29.

After this, moderate rain is expected in most of the districts on June 30 and July 1. It is worth noting that the minimum temperature in Punjab has been recorded at 25 degrees, while the minimum temperature in cities like Faridkot and Amritsar has crossed 30 degrees. With this, in 1-2 days, the minimum temperature in Jalandhar will reach close to 30 degrees, and the temperature in other districts will also fall suddenly.
