The sixth and last shooter Deepak Mundi wanted in the killing of Sidhu Moose Wala murder case has been arrested along with two of his friends from Darjeeling on Saturday.

Mundi along with two of his friends Kapil Pandit and Rajendra Joker was trying to cross into Nepal. The three of them were promised by the Canada-based gangster and mastermind in the Moose Wala murder case Goldy Brar of fake passports or making arrangements through land routes of settling them in Dubai.

Punjab Police DG Gaurav Yadav during the press brief informed that for the past 105 days Deepak Mundi along with Pandit traveled to West Bengal through Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

Whereas, Rajendra was in Nepal. The gangster was to be made available with the Passports there itself from where the accused were to leave for Dubai from Kathmandu via Bangkok.

DGP Yadav said, even if they were not provided with the passport, provisions were made to take them to Myanmar through Bhutan. He further informed that the entire operation led by the Punjab Police to nab the wanted goons were accompanied by the Delhi Police. The operation involved ASI Gurmeet Chauhan, ASI Sandeep Goyal, and DSP Vikram Brar.

During the investigation, Kapil Pandit informed that he was contacted by Lawrence Bishnoi with assistance from foreign-based gangsters Goldy Brar and Sampat.

They wanted him to murder Salman Khan, for which he even spent days in Mumbai. DGP Yadav later said that if required he will send a team to Mumbai to get the essential lead in the matter.

The police have registered a case against 35 people in the Moose Wala killing case out of which 23 are under police custody, 2 were gunned down during a Police encounter in Amritsar, whereas 10 are still fleeing.

During the entire press brief, DGP Yadav flagged his concern about the rising case associated with Gangsters and Terrorists in the state.

While being questioned about Pakistan-based terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda, Yadav said that over the past few days the Punjab Police has neutralized a total of 25 slipper sells of the Rinda gang.

While Nacchatar Singh one among the 25 was having the expertise in making bombs through the RDX, his arrest as the police said has shocked the Rinda gang.
