Sources inform that the shooters had anticipated heavy police security for Sidhu, due to which, Goldy Brar armed the shooter with loads of pistols and AKs. Together, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria’s shooter Manpreet Manna and Jagroop Rupa along with 3 others had planned to visit Sidhu at his house disguised as Policemen. The plan was in motion as the accused had even bought the uniforms but they did not fit. Furthermore, the accused revealed that two women were to accompany the “policemen” as journalists but they were a no-show.

According to sources, when the plan was made to kill Moosewala by posing as fake policemen and involving the girls as journalists in the scheme, all the other accused stayed in a room at night in a deserted place in the fields of Sakta Kheda village of Dabwali. There all the accused fired and checked their pistols and AK-47, also a grenade launcher according to the arrested.

The shooters then went in a Scorpio and Bolero cars. As told by Keshav to the police, when all the accused left the fields and went towards Mansa, there were also 3 Punjabi boys and shooters Manpreet Singh Manna and Jagroop Rupa in the Scorpio. Whereas, Priyavart Fauji, Keshav, Deepak Mundi, Kashish alias Kuldeep and Ankit were traveling in the second Bolero vehicle.
