It is said that a mother can go up to any extent to save her children's life. A similar kind of video is going viral on social media. In the video, a mother hen fount an intense battle with a cobra to save her chicks.
Susanta Nanda of the Indian Forest Service tweeted the 51-second clip on Thursday. The cobra slithered inside the enclosure as the hen made a brave attempt to block its path. In the meantime, the chicks fluttered away. The hen, however, did not concede defeat and continued pecking the cobra until her chicks moved out of the enclosure safely.
The snake, meanwhile, also tried to bite the hen but she managed to escape with her chicks.
The video was shared with the caption, "Battle Royal. When a mother fights to save the children, it is battle royal. Brave mom saves her chicks fighting a cobra."
