The Coronavirus has been wreaking havoc on the country for over a year, and the third wave of the deadly virus has only made matters worse. People are now seen gasping for air, and hundreds of patients have died as a result of a lack of oxygen. Needless to say, not only are the residents of this town in dire need of oxygen and drugs, but each of them is still searching for a ray of hope. In the midst of all of this, our frontline staff has proven to be our knight in shining armour.
A video recently surfaced on social media in which some Surat healthcare staff were seen circling a patient's bed in the hospital and cheering him on by singing a son song. The team was seen singing "Bhar Do Jholi Meri," a song from the Salman Khan film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Their efforts to promote positivity are definitely resonating with people.
Meanwhile, a number of ordinary citizens have stepped forward to assist those in need. For example, in Bhopal, an auto-rickshaw driver converted his vehicle into an ambulance and has been assisting COVID 10 patients in getting to the hospital for free. “I saw on social media and news channels how people were being carried to hospitals due to a shortage of ambulance,” Javed said of the initiative. As a result, I came up with the idea of doing this.”
