Another cross-border love story is in the making i.e. a girl from Pakistan is all set to marry a man from India in January 2024. A Pakistani girl named Javaria Khanam on Tuesday arrived in India via the Wagah-Attari border to meet her Kolkata-based lover. Javaria Khanam was welcomed with Dhol Nagara by her boyfriend Samir Khan at the Attari border. Samir Khan while talking to the media informed that he will be marrying Javaria in January 2024 in Kolkata. On the other hand, Javaria Khanam informed that she is in India on a 45-day visa which she got by continuously trying for the past 5 years. 

 

Pakistan's Javaria Khanam has come to India along with her father. Both Khanam and her father looked ecstatic and danced to the tunes of dhol in Punjab. Samir Khan was present to welcome his fiance along with his father Ahmed Kamal Khan Yusufzai.

 

While talking to the media, Javaria Khanam looked happy and said, "I am getting so much of love the moment I arrived here. I am very happy. I got the visa after 5 or 5 and a half years. I got a 45-day visa. My visa got rejected twice." Thereafter, Javaria Khanam's Indian fiance Samir said, "We are getting married in the first week of January in 2024. The wedding will take place in Kolkata." Khanam also informed that her family was also very happy when she was coming to India. 

 

 

As per reports, the Indian man Samir resided in Gurdaspur, Punjab, while he hailed from West Bengal. To celebrate the wedding and participate in concerned rituals with their extended family, all travelled to Kolkata. The couple would marry as per Islamic rituals.
