 Coffee Table Book 'Ek Onkar- One Supreme Reality' OnThe Life Of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Book Written By District Head Gog Major General (retd.) Balwinder Singh Jalandhar, December 11- Member of Parliament (MP) Santokh Singh Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori along with renowned environmentalist Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal on Friday unveiled a coffee table book 'Ek Onkar- One Supreme Reality' on the life and ideals of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji penned by District Head GoG Major General (Retd) Balwinder Singh.

Presiding over a releasing ceremony of coffee table book in Virsa Vihar, they lauded the effort of Major General (Retd) Balwinder Singh and said that his book throws light on time spent by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Sultanpur Lodhi, who had lived 14 years of his early life here, about Holy Kali Bein, the enlightenment phase, and others through pictures and brief history. They said this book was a humble and befitting tribute to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

They said the book beautifully displayed Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's life and philosophy in the form of his universal message to our society through pictures.

They added that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was a true social reformer and a great spiritual ambassador who preached the gospels of love, compassion, mutual tolerance, universal brotherhood, and oneness of mankind through his life and philosophy.

MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori along and Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal said that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji bitterly opposed the maladies of hypocrisy, falsehood, and caste-prejudices by envisioning a casteless society free from rituals and superstitions.

They told that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji made tireless efforts for bringing social equality through the concept of ‘Sangat and Pangat’ thereby eradicating the evil of casteism from the society.

They also appreciated the efforts of educationists Arvind Rajput, Harpreet Bal, Kawajit Kaur, Laveena, Sharan Rajput, Aryan, Bakshish Singh, Gaganpreet Singh, Manpreet Kaur, Amarjeet Singh, and others who played a key role in making the coffee table book.
