The first businessman who got Z+ security: In the year 2013, Mukesh Ambani and his family were given Z security by the then government. However, it was later changed to Z+ as there was a possibility of a terror attack on him. It is to be known that in the year 2013, Ambani was threatened by the terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen. At that time Mukesh Ambani was the first businessman in the country, who got Z+ security.

Ambani himself bears the expenses: About Rs. 15-20 lakhs are spent every month on the security of Mukesh Ambani and his family and he pays for it. In most cases, it is paid by the government. However, he is the first person to bear the cost of the security cover. Under this security cover, 6 to 8 vehicles of NSG, CRPF and private security guards run in Ambani's convoy.

Trained private guards and bulletproof vehicles from Israel: Apart from the commands in the security cover of Ambani, there are also about 20 private guards trained from Israel. Despite being unarmed, these guards can put the enemy to death. It is said that they have been trended by an Israeli security firm. Apart from this, all the vehicles in Ambani's convoy are bulletproof. Mukesh himself prefers to drive in his bulletproof Mercedes car worth Rs 2.5 crore. While his security guards in the convoy walk in the SUV of Mercedes, Range Rover.

CRPF commandos are equipped with state-of-the-art weapons: The commandos included in Mukesh Ambani's security squad are equipped with advanced types of weapons. According to reports, the commandos involved in Ambani's security squad use many state-of-the-art weapons, including the Germany-made sub-machine gun Heckler & Koch MP-5.

The speciality of this machine gun is that it can fire 800 rounds of bullets/minute. At the same time, whenever Ambani goes to Mumbai or elsewhere in the country, the commandos in the squad are always accompanied by a pilot and a follow-on vehicle.

What is Z+Security: There are around 55 to 60 armed commandos of CRPF in Z+ security cover. The cover includes 10 PSOs and 10 security guards for home surveillance, bulletproof cars, escorts in three shifts and additional personnel if required. At present, Mukesh Ambani has Z+ security, which includes about 58 CRPF commandos. However, Ambani has to see the arrangements for all of them.

How to get security: In simple language, the threat assessment/apprehension of any person is decided based on inputs given by the country's intelligence agency. If the home ministry of the country feels that the inputs suggested by the intelligence agency are correct and there is a threat to the life of such a person, then the government assigns him a security category based on assessment.
