Mumbai Police summons Kangana Ranaut in Javed Akhtar defamation case, actress says, 'all hyenas come together'

Akhtar had in November 2020 filed a criminal complaint against Kangana before the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate.

Mumbai Police on Thursday summoned Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut in yet another case This time Mumbai Police has summoned Kangana Ranaut in criminal defamation case which was filed by veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar. Akhtar had sued Kangana for purportedly using his name in Sushant Singh Rajput's case in her various interviews. The Lyricist has also sued Kangana for accusing him of threatening Kangana to remain silent during her row with Hrithik Roshan. 

Kangana has alleged that Javed called her at his house and threatened her to stop speaking against Hrithik Roshan or else the day is not far when she will take her own life. 

Akhtar had in November 2020 filed a criminal complaint against Kangana before the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate. The court had then ordered the Mumbai Police to investigate the matter and come up with a report. Kangana who is in Bhopal thee days, shooting for her movie Dhakad lashed ut at Mumbai Police and Javed Akhtar yet again. 

Kangana took to Twitter and wrote, "Today one more summon for me. Come all hyenas come together... Put me in jail... torture me and push me against the wall with 500 cases ... come on. मर कर भी मेरी राख कहेगी मैं तुम सब भेड़ियों को नहीं छोड़ूँगी ।"
