This Mumbai restaurant bags Miele One To Watch award at Asia's 50 Best Restaurants

Masque, Mumbai's fine-dining restaurant has bagged the Miele One To Watch award at Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2020. Masque is not only recognised as one of the Asia's 50 Best list, but is also known as a risisng star of the region.

The restaurant Masque was founded in 2016 by Chef Prateek Sadhu and Aditi Dugar. It is an ingredients-driven, fine-dining restaurant. It offers a 10-course tasting menu that is based on seasonal ingredients and pays tribute to India's diverse produce. According to the restaurant's website, its 10-course menu costs Rs 3,950.

However, Masque has become the first restaurant to introduce the tasting menu-only concept to Mumbai. Another interesting aspect about the restaurant is that it sources 70 per cent of its produce from its own farm.

On receiving the award, Sadhu said, "I was literally pinching myself when we found out that we had received the award. We are really motivated - this gives us a chance to showcase Indian food to the world."
