A user wrote, "I think it’s on another level to the film. The music, actors, pace, characterisation, chemistry. Everything. Possibly the breadth of time covered, makes more sense as a tv series. We grow to love Emma and Dexter even more, makes the ending even more heartbreaking. "

Another user wrote, "Leo Woodall is an ACTOR actor. Silently crying his heart out with the tears dropping off his nose over and over is one of the most heartbreaking parts of a show that had many of them. This scene will haunt me for weeks."

One more user wrote, "Yeah so I too have never read One Day or watched the film, so I went into the series not knowing what was coming. God, I am BROKEN"
