BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj from Uttar Pradesh said that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was murdered by the Congress, he gave this debatable statement at an event when India was celebrating Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary.
“My allegation is that Congress got Subhas Chandra Bose killed....neither Mahatma Gandhi nor Pandit Nehru could stand in front of his popularity, the BJP MP said while addressing a public rally in Unnao.

Netaji, who played a significant role in India’s freedom movement, was killed in a plane crash in Taipei on August 18, 1945.
People who followed him, including many of his loyal followers from Azad Hind Fauj never believed that he could die so soon and refuted the plane crash theory.
The Central government had in a (Right to Information Act) RTI in 2017 confirmed that he had indeed died in the incident.
According to the declassified papers from the Netaji files, Jawaharlal Nehru had ordered the Intelligence Bureau (IB) to keep Bose family members under heavy surveillance.
