My Universe MV: BTS X Coldplay releases epic music video, Army compares with Galaxy & Star Wars

BTS and Coldplay have officially released the video for their latest song ‘My Universe’. The audio was released last week (on September 24), at 1 pm KST.

The popular K-POP band BTS released the lyrical video of their latest track “My Universe,” in Korean and English language. The song was composed in collaboration with the Coldplay band. The song was released on September 24 at 1 pm KST. 

The music video of the song was dropped by the popular bands today, the video was loved by the BTS fans, who call themselves Army.  In the video, the two bands demonstrate the power of love, despite being from ‘different worlds.

Chris Martin has taken the viewers to the psychedelic trip. The 4.42 minutes video starts with words about the universe and music, which read, “Once upon a time, many years from now… Music is forbidden across the spheres. On three different planets, three different bands defy the Ban Dj Lafrique, on her radio ship, unites them via holoband. All the while they are hunted by the silencers…” and it ends with the two bands singing and dancing in different geographic locations, to show that they’re always connected.

The latest release is a love song and would be added to Chris Martin-fronted band's album “Music Of The Spheres,” which would be released on October 15, 2021. The song is backed by producer Max Martin.

While telling about the behind-the-shoot scenes of the song, Chris Martin fully praised the Korean band. He was quoted saying, “It’s very special to me that the most popular artists in the world speak Korean and is like a group of brothers, not from the West. It feels very hopeful to me, in terms of thinking of the world as one family. Then of course, when you see who they are and their songs, it’s really a message of togetherness, and being yourself.”
