Narendra Modi biopic to release on 24 May

After much controversy, the biopic based on PM Modi's life will finally find place in theaters on 24 May,2019

Narendra Modi biopic worldwide release was stopped on April 11 just a night before. The Election Commission gave the reasoning that any material which disturbs a level playing field should not be granted. The release of the motion picture was stopped by many opposition parties as it may affect the Lok Sabha result. Perhaps,the film has marred all the controversy and is going to be released after the Lok Sabha elections.

Directed by Omung Kumar, the film  is starring Vivek Oberoi in the lead role of Narendra Modi. Omung Kumar has directed Mary Kom which was a high earning film  of 2014 .He is also the director of Sarbjit, a 2016 Indian biopic drama film, starring  Aishwarya Rai as Dalbir Kaur and Randeep Hooda as Sarbhjit Singh himself, an Indian man who was sentenced to death by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 1991 and who consequently spent 22 years in prison for alleged terrorism and spying .

The Producer Sandip Singh exclaimed with responsibility that he respects the law of the country. After a lot of discussions and given the curiosity and excitement about the film, the team have decided to release the film immediately after the Lok Sabha Election results (to be announced on May 23).

The film will now release on May 24 and there would be 4 days for handling the promotions. He prays that there would be no further hurdles in the release and it would go smooth now.

The film has actor Vivek Anand Oberoi playing Modi. Other cast members include Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Ramakant Dayma, Akshat R Saluja, Jimesh Patel and Darshan Kumaar. The film highlights the life of the PM Narendra Modi from humble background to something extraordinary and unexpected.
