New Delhi:  President of the United States Of America, Donald Trump just called the Moon a part of Mars, and obviously Twitter was left confused.

Trump during the late hours last night, took to his Twitter account, and wrote, "For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon - We did that 50 years ago. They should be focused on the much bigger things we are doing, including Mars (of which the Moon is a part), Defense and Science!"

What he tweeted:

Yes you read right, according to President Trump moon; which is also Earth natural satellite, is a part of the planet Mars, which is roughly 33.9 million miles from Earth.
Even NASA's administrator had to intervene and he tried to clear things up by tweeting on the issue.

NASA administrator, Jim Bridenstine, tweeted, “As @POTUS said, @NASA is using the Moon to send humans to Mars! Right now, @MarsCuriosity and @NASAInSight are on Mars and will soon be joined by the Mars 2020 rover and the Mars helicopter.”

As soon as Trump tweeted his thoughts online, there were a lot of questions, thoughts and hot takes that internet had on his groundbreaking thoughts.
So obviously, his tweet went viral, thus, leading to some hilarious jokes, memes and really good sarcasm on Twitter.

One Twitter user wrote, "Let's build a wall between earth & moon to prevent future landings." Another tweeted, "You are not fit to lead this country (or explain the solar system to children)."
