Women on having a daughter or a son and further family planning:

65% of women who already had two daughters do not desire sons. Despite the fact that females have surpassed sons in many sectors, the desire to have a son in the family persists. According to the most recent NFHS-5 poll, 65% of mothers with two girls do not desire a son, while 35% do. 91% of women with only two sons, on the other hand, do not want a girl. In the case of males, the figure is nearly the same. According to the study, 70% of married women between the ages of 15 and 49 do not desire any more children. In 2015-16, however, this ratio was only 68 %. Women, on the other hand, now prefer only a small family. The average has dropped from 2.2 in 2015-16 to 2.1 this year. Rajasthan is the most insured state in the country, whereas UP-Bihar is the least covered.

The average for the country is 32%. The least number of women encountering spouse violence was recorded in Lakshadweep (2.1%) and Goa (10%). In comparison to those without work, 37 % of women are victims of abuse.
