The National Awards 2023 list is finally out and fans are divided on the final results. The 69th National Film Awards was slated to be announced on Thursday during a press conference by the Jury at the National Media Center, New Delhi. While there were many categories in the National Award 2023, it was Alia Bhatt vs. Kangana Rananut which the fans were ultimately looking forward to. Courtesy of their bitter and sweet relationship with Kangana targeting Alia Bhatt on various issues, fans were eager to see who take the Best Actress Award to their home. Notably, Kangana Rananut has won the National Award four times in her career 3 times for best actress and 1 time for supporting actress. However, The National Award 2023 for Best Actress went to none other than Alia Bhatt for her impeccable performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi made by none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
In the category of best actor, there was tough competition among the south actors. The nomination included- Jr NTR and Ram Charan for 'RRR', Suriya for 'Jai Bhim', Dhanush for 'Karnan', Allu Arjun for 'Pushpa: The Rise', Silambarasan TR for 'Maanadu', Arya for 'Sarpatta', actor Joju George for 'Nayattu'. However, it was Allu Arjun who bagged the National Award for Best Actor.

11) Kaala Bhairava wins the Best Male Playback Singer for the song 'Komuram Bheemudo' from the film 'RRR'
12) 'RRR' wins the Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment
