
Samyukta Kisan Morcha, an umbrella organization of theprotesting farmers in Delhi has announced a countrywide roadblock or "chakka-jam" on February 6.
According to reports, the SKM has announced nationwideroadblock in a protest against the suspension of internet at protest site andin several districts of Haryana.
The farmers protesting against the contentious farm lawswill block National and State Highways for three hours between 12 PM to 3 PM. Thefarmers claim that the Budget 2021-22 is not beneficial for farmers because thefarmers have been ignored by the government.
Meanwhile, the government has cut power supply and watersupply at the protest sites. Moreover, the government has added iron nails,reports suggest more than 2,000 iron nails have been added at Delhi's borderwith Haryana at Tikri.
As per reports, the government is trying hard to blockthe way to the protest sites from Punjab and Haryana. The government hadalleged since the protests started across India that these farmers areprimarily from Punjab and Haryana. However, protests are seen across India.
