PPCC President Navjot Singh Sidhu on Saturday, before filing his nominations from Amritsar East said that people will not accept such cheap politics.

“For the sake of politics, that lady brought my mother out of the grave. Navjot Singh Sidhu will not steep this low and would never do such ruthless behaviour with his mother. I can’t bring her back after 40 years to answer Suman’s allegations. People will not tolerate such cheap politics under any circumstances, he stated.

Sidhu's sister Suman Toor, who reached Chandigarh from the US, said that she had gone to meet Navjot Sidhu at his Amritsar home but he did not open the gate. Even blocked them on WhatsApp.  In 1986, when his father Bhagwant Sidhu's died, Sidhu along with his mother threw them out of the house soon after. Their mother’s body remained unattended at Delhi’s railway station during her death. Sidhu did all this for the property.

The allegations didn’t go well with Sidhu’s family. Earlier, Navjot Kaur denied all such remarks and said, “Who is Suman Toor? I don't know this woman. This woman is a child from Navjot Sidhu's father's first marriage. His father had two marriages. From his first marriage, he had two daughters. Maybe she is one of them.”

On the contrary, Sidhu’s daughter Rabia shared a post on Instagram in support of her father. She shared a picture of Sidhu with his father and wrote, “My Grandfather and his ONLY CHILD, Dad!”
