The NCB on Tuesday evening arrested a drug peddler who had direct connection with Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik and house manager Samuel Miranda. However, the details on Tuesday were not revealed by the NCB.
The NCB on Wednesday confirmed the reports and stated that 'Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested one Abdul Basit Parihar from Bandra, Mumbai. He had a connection with Samuel Miranda (Rhea Chakraborty's associate). Miranda is accused of procuring drugs on instructions of Showik Chakraborty (Rhea Chakraborty's brother).'
Going by the reports of Times Now, the NCB is likely to summon Showik in this week for his involvement in drugs peddling along with his associates. The NCB is moving in a very systematic way in terms to crack down the nexus of drug cartels and Bollywood.
As per reports, the NCB has also recovered the deleted WhatsApp chats of Showik with drug peddlers. One of the friends of Showik has accepted that he helped him in procuring drugs.
